While it may seem new, Contrast Bathing has been practiced for centuries. It’s also one of the pillars of the hot springs culture, which alternate between exposure to hot, cold, and rest. The perfect complement to the crisp contrasts we already embrace—the cool water of the San Juan River and the chilly mountain air are an invigorating contrast to our hot therapeutic mineral pools.
