The Springs Resort and Pagosa Weather

Until recently, Pagosa Springs has been unable to obtain accurate weather data for impending weather conditions. Given the town’s distance from any National Weather Service offices and its tricky mountainous location and microclimates, tracking weather has been a frustrating matter for residents, businesses, and visitors. However, thanks to a dynamic collaboration between The Springs Resort and Pagosa Weather, this is no longer the case.

Affordable Community Housing

The growing scarcity of affordable housing in Western Slope communities, including Pagosa Springs, is straining the comfort and security of hard-working families that keep rural mountain communities and local charm alive.

A report commissioned by Housing Solutions for the Southwest and the Southwest Colorado Council of Governments highlights a 213% change in cost-burdened renters who pay more than 30% of their income for housing between 2010-2019 in Archuleta County.

Pints & Pools, and Community Support

“The Springs Resort is always looking at ways to help support the youth in our community,” according to Tom Inman, The Springs Resort General Manager. “From internships, scholarships, career day presentations, and educational field trips through the geothermal wetlands. Our guest, associate, and community vitality are paramount to our operations.”
