Summer (Memorial Day–Labor Day) is the busiest time of the year and ski season (early November–April 1) is the second busiest time at the Resort. We call Fall and Spring our "Soaking Seasons." The pace is less hectic and it makes for a wonderful time to relax, focus on your personal well-being, revive, and nurture yourself.

Well behaved pets are welcome on a limited basis in the hotel for a $85 nightly fee. However, no pets are allowed to enter the pools area. There are specifically designated "Pet-Friendly" rooms.

Each hotel room opens to an outdoor deck or walkway where ash cans are strategically placed. We appreciate the courtesy of our smoking guests using these areas and cans instead of smoking in the rooms. There is now a large open deck area at the pool end of the Deluxe Building, centrally located and overlooking the river and the river walk footbridge. We invite you to sit and enjoy the view and the activity.

Smoking and vaping marijuana or marijuana products is prohibited on the resort grounds, in the rooms, and while in the indoor areas.

All pets must be registered at the hotel desk. Pets are not to be left unattended in the hotel rooms. Pet owners will be asked to sign an agreement upon check-in, which states that any violation of our Pet Policy will result in a minimum fine of $100 and/or removal of the owner and pet from the hotel. Our goal is to accommodate our guests who wish to travel with their pets, provided it does not impact the comfort or accommodations of other guests at the Resort.

Yes. Room rates include a nightly resort fee of $45, which covers access to the new wellness pools, original pools, and the Relaxation Terrace for two adults, 24-hour soaking access, and 3 children. Additional guests may be added to your booking: each extra adult (18+) is $69 per night, and each additional child (ages 3–12) beyond three is $37 per night.

Guests staying in the Main building can access Wild Finch without going outside.

Yes. Overnight guests can charge their meal directly to their room.

Wild Finch is open Sunday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Reservations are recommended.

Wild Finch is open to both resort guests and the public, so everyone is welcome to dine with us.

We do not provide any shuttle services to or from the airport. There are local services in Pagosa Springs and Durango that will accommodate your needs.

The Springs Resort does NOT permit soaking guests to bring personal speakers into the pools area.

No; however, you can bring an empty water bottle to use.

The Bathhouse is the entrance to the hot spring pools for non-resort guests. It is also where day pass soakers can rent lockers, towels, and robes. There is also a retail area with sunscreen, flip-flops, bathing suits, and memorabilia. The Bathhouse has locker rooms with showers and restrooms.

Yes, we are open to both hotel guests and day guests. Daily guests have access to the pool 9am to 9:30pm, 7 days a week. Please review our pricing and passes page for more information on daily passes.

The silver will tarnish in sulfur water, but it can be polished at home or by a professional jeweler.

Silver jewelry will tarnish in the high sulfur content water, so we advise you to remove all silver jewelry.

No suit, no problem! We offer a variety of men’s, women’s, and children’s swimwear for purchase in the Bath House. You can also find ladies’ fashion, swimwear, and boutique items in the Thermal Spa.

No. For safety reasons, outside food and beverages are not permitted at The Springs Resort, and glass containers are not allowed in the pool areas.

Guests can enjoy food and drinks at several on-site locations, including 1881 Poolside Provisions, Barefoot Grill, The Canteen, and the Café. Alcohol is available for purchase for guests 21+ with a valid ID.

We ask that guests help keep the property clean by using the trash receptacles located throughout the resort, so everyone can enjoy a relaxing soaking experience.

Yes, but pool toys are only allowed at the Blue Lagoon mineral swimming pool. This pool has a shallow depth of 3 feet to accommodate our younger visitors. Water toys, running, loud playing, and splashing is not allowed in the other soaking pools. While we encourage children to enjoy their soaking experience, many other soakers take to the waters for their tranquil, relaxing benefits so we ask that you respect the quiet nature we aim to create in and around the soaking pools.

Accommodations have a check-in of 4pm and check-out of 10am. Arriving early? You are welcome to enjoy our recreation facilities and programs. Feel free to linger after checking out and extend your stay! Please note, late check-out times may result in additional fees. To confirm your check-in/out times, check your confirmation letter.

It sure is! We offer an abundance of recreational activities for each of the four seasons. Our pools are a great place to be in the middle of the summer. Christmas, New Year’s Valentine’s are all perfect excuses to head here for a visit too.

You certainly can! Just drop over to the Booking section of our website.
