Our Mud Experience is a unique, hands-on way to enhance your soaking journey with added wellness benefits. You are invited to partake in the experience by visiting the Wellness Host located at the resort’s Mud Beach beside the Burg pool along the banks of the San Juan River.

12:00 PM – Warrior Plunge
(Location: Meet at The Plunge)

We invite our guests to experience this guided contrast bathing ritual to bring out the courage of their inner warrior. You start by soaking in a warm pool, followed by a refreshing plunge into cold water in the San Juan River and then a fun “warrior cry.”

12:30 – 1:30 PM – Contrast Circuit
(Location: Meet at The Plunge)
Enjoy the cumulative benefits of a circuit of 3 contrast bathing circuits, beginning in a hot pool to gentle raise your core temperature, followed by a cold plunge and a time of rest to allow your body to find a neutral balance, before beginning the next round. Feel refreshed and enlivened.

2:00 PM – Hang Time at Respite Ranch (Offsite)

Enjoy a light hike to a private, serene pine forest with hammocks awaiting. Restore your wellbeing and find a sense of stillness; find a deep understanding of relaxation as you enjoy a serene moment surrounded by nature’s beauty at Respite Ranch, just minutes from your accommodations at The Springs Resort.

During this ceremony you will pause, immerse in the moment, and enjoy the surrounding natural space. 4:30 – 5:00 PM – Community Sound Bath
(Location: Meet at Healing Waters Courtyard)

Balance the energy of the body and quiet the mind, as the terrace is filled with the harmonic sound from Tibetan singing bowls. Lay back, unwind and receive the benefits that help relieve stress and anxiety and prepare for a good night’s sleep.

Enjoy the benefits of our geothermal mineral water amplified by the practice of Qi Gong in the water.  This activity will help optimize energy while connecting the body, breath and movement for an improved sense of wellbeing.

The Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, highlights the restorative nature of getting out in the woods, focusing on your surroundings, and letting nature heal you. This guided hike explores the winding travels up Reservoir Hill, walking distance from The Springs. This wellness therapy helps bridge the gap between yourself and the natural world by connecting with nature through your senses. Benefits include improved mood, reduced stress, and increased energy.

Are children able to attend?

No. This event is open to 16 years and older.

Is this event open to the public?

Yes, we invite all community members and visitors to Pagosa to participate.

When is the deadline to purchase tickets?

If you want to purchase a one-day pass, the last day is Sunday, November 12th. If you were looking at a three-day pass, the deadline is Friday, November 10th.

Where is check-in for this event?

Check-in is going to be at the Bath House.
