Mineral Water

Beyond the physical sensation of immersing yourself in warm water, our mineral water infuses you with the health-giving minerals that are unique to our geothermal waters. According to Dr. Coplin, “There is a direct antioxidant effect, an enhanced anti-inflammatory effect, greater pain-relieving experiences, with increased immunological effects from the minerality of the water.

Gratitude

Dr. Coplin promotes gratitude as a powerful tool that can be incorporated into daily habits, “It is said that the grateful mind cannot feel negative emotions. When we are actively focused on the sensation of thankfulness, appreciation, and embodying the impulse to return kindness, i.e. feeling gratitude, not only does our mental health improve, but so does our physical health.” Join us for a daily Gratitude Ceremony at the Mother Spring.

Water-based Wellness at The Springs Resort

Contrast Bathing Therapy

Contrast bathing is a long-practiced hydrothermal therapy that involves alternating soaking in hot and cold water. Heat therapy provides several benefits for your physical and mental wellbeing. The benefits begin to be felt immediately and increase with time.

Forest Bathing

The Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, highlights the restorative nature of getting out in the woods, focusing on your surroundings, and letting nature heal you. This guided hike explores the winding travels up Reservoir Hill, walking distance from The Springs.

Aqua Sound Bathing

Experience the deep sense of relaxation by combining the therapeutic benefits of soaking in our geothermal water with waves of harmonic sound that envelop the body from singing bowls. The combination helps relieve stress and anxiety, promoting a good night’s sleep.
